All paid-up SWITCH Members are eligible to vote. Everybody is welcome to attend, but we are asking Members to register for the AGM in order to track quorum requirements

Please attend the 2020 SWITCH Annual General Meeting. It will be held online and begins at 8:00am Friday, February 5, 2021. Information for joining the meeting by Zoom is below.

BOARD OF DIRECTOR NOMINATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED

The AGM provides SWITCH members with the opportunity to vote on new board members and by-law changes. There will also be reports from the SWITCH President and Treasurer and, of course, plenty of opportunities to exchange news and network.

Election of Board of Directors:

The election of FIVE people to the SWITCH Board of Directors will take place at the AGM.

According to the SWITCH By-Laws, the SWITCH Board of Directors must consist of "at least two, but not more than four directors" elected under each of the following categories:

Education/Research
Government/Utility
Private Business/Resident

And one director elected under the category of:

Student

This means that, for the February 5, 2021 election, SWITCH members will elect:

One Board Member from 'Private Business/Resident'
One Board Member from 'Government/Utility'
Two other Board Members from any Category
One Student Board Member

Please attend the AGM or send your proxy vote with a member or to info@switchontario.ca. Your vote is needed for quorum for our elections to count!
